Oak Hills Elementary PTO

Thank you for visiting our website! Here you will find information about Oak Hills Elementary PTO including upcoming events and meetings, fundraising and volunteer opportunities and how to connect with us. 

The OHE PTO  consists of parents, teachers and school staff. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit group dedicated to supporting the students and staff of OHE. We meet monthly throughout the school year to discuss current and future events and activities. All OHE parents are welcome to attend meetings as they are able. Our Mission

It is the mission of the OHE PTO, a non-profit, charitable organization, to foster efforts to develop the Oak Hills community by:

• Providing additional student education beyond that provided by the school district.

• Encouraging communication between parents and staff.

• Promoting parent awareness and involvement in school issues.

• Raising and administering funds.

2022 - 2023 School Year PTO Accomplishments

• Playground Grand Re-Opening featuring a DJ & Ice Cream Truck

• Popsicles on the Playground for incoming Kindergarten families

• Oak Tree Mural with country flags of our school heritage completed in main stairwell to celebrate our community and diversity

• Purchased Rip Stix for music class

• 5th Grade Art Tiles

• 500 Pounds of clay

• Walk-A-Thon: Raised over $29,000 (exceeding our goal), Construction themed shirts for each student and staff member, LNHS Panther Mascot and Culver's Scoopie Mascot attended the event, raised enough money to earn Dr. Labatte and Mrs. Semantel dying their hair purple

• Staff Supplement Allocations

• Read-A-Thon: Raised over $16,480, Visit from local author Stacy Bauer, each student received a Kangaroo reading buddy and bookmark,  two top fundraising classes participating in first annual Neon Glow Party

• Student Planners

• Staff Appreciation: Food, Lounge Decorations, Thank you Banner, Stars, Office Flowers, Dinner catered for conferences

• Teacher Book Fair Stipend for both Fall & Spring book fairs

• BINGO Prizes

• Field Trip Scholarships and bussing

• Kindness Club Vests & donated treats for teachers

• Math Masters Registration - 4 teams

• Safety Patrol End of Year Party

• In school Field Trip Funding for Kite Building, Rad Zoo, & Pacer Puppet Show

• New Restaurant Give Back Nights (Chipotle and Cane's)

• Family Fun Night: Brought in over $9,400, Games & Prizes, DJ, inflatables, photo booth, food trucks, NEW sensory-friendly area, crafts/activities, almost 100 silent auction items & 28 raffle baskets
